Lots of stuff

Hey, sorry it took me 2 weeks to post again. I was having too much fun in the game to take a break and blog about it. I am now level 64, with some new spells and a new pet, a phoenix. I've also been doing quite a bit of Jade Oni farming, mostly looking for pets. None have showed up. Here are some screenshots of the past couple weeks:

Getting the Phoenix pet

Reaching level 60

Buying a new mount and house, both without crowns

Training my phoenix

Having many intense battles in Celestia

I'm reaching the end of Celestia as I quest through the Crustacean Empire.  In Wintertusk I have conquered the lands of Austrilund, Vestrilund, Sudrilund, and Nordrilund, leaving only Nastrond, the final dungeon, uncompleted. My phoenix is almost to adult, and I did a big hit that I will be posting soon. Today I would like to reach the Trial of Spheres, the final dungeon of Celestia, and maybe even solo it. I probably won't actually do the dungeon today, just everything leading up to it.

A Forgotten Spell-Caster

Wow. It's been almost 2 years since I last posted on here. Yes, I had taken a break on the game, one that's lasted quite a while. I have been playing this game again for a couple months now, and have leveled up my main character from level 44 to level 57.

Unfortunately, my second favorite character, Jesse Wild, who had made it all the way to Krokotopia, has completely disappeared, along with my female storm character, who I can't remember the name of. Also all of my pets have disappeared, including my patriotic leprechaun, my dire ghoul, and my fire mander.

When I came back to the game, the only gear I had was a ring I bought with arena tickets, which was 11 levels too high for me. But I have made good progress. I started with nothing, fighting easier creatures and bosses and selling the drops at the bazaar. After about a week of doing this and procrastinating, I was ready to quest further in Dragonspyre.

The only ring I had access to was the Atheneum. I was stuck in a certain dungeon in the Plaza of Conquests, but earlier I had only soloed it. This time I brought a friend, and he left after the first fight. However, I was confident this time. I made it through the dungeon with very low health. I was victorious. I kept on questing, and after a while, I faced a magical moment. I completed one of the last Dragonspyre quests which leveled me up to level 50. At the exact same time I was faced with a new opportunity. A new quest, entitled: "The Final Countdown".

For those of you who don't know, "The Final Countdown" is the quest where you defeat Malistaire. I put it off for a while, then soon afterwards, I teleported to a friend, only to find them in Malistaire's lair. The battle was fairly easy. After defeating 4 of his minions, the 3 of us advanced forth, to challenge Malistaire Drake himself. With 3 of his minions by his side, we began the battle. After a few rounds, a Fire Dragon and Frost Giant were summoned and destroyed his servants. With a few colossi leading up to it, A fiery Helephant appeared on the battlefield. Miraculously, it was a critical. With some blades and traps to power it, it slashed its sword and in a burning triumph, the Master of Death, Malistaire Drake, fell to the ground.

I tried to record the battle but my computer had a problem and did not record it. Anyway, this game has been very fun to play, despite the loss of some rare pets. I did gain some new ones though, like Boots the red cap, who was dropped from Jotun the Grendel. Speaking of Grizzlehiem, I'm about to finish Austrilund. Wintertusk has been very fun. Celestia has also been fun so far, though I prefer Wintertusk.

I have told you some things about the game, but nothing about this blog. I do plan on posting on here again, but I do not know how frequently. I have an upcoming big hit I would like to do, but this time it will reach a number so high you receive a badge for it: 1,000,000. I cannot really record though, due to my computer's crappiness. I also plan on making Sorcerer 101 posts once I get my new Jesse Wild up to where he was. I want to make a new banner and video intro for the blog, which I should have out soon. Hopefully a Conjurer 101 will also arrive in the future.

See you around-

New Samoorai Pet

Hey. Remember this:

New Pet Suggestions

First up, I have to remind everyone there's less than a day left to get the Patriotic Leprechaun!
And speaking of pets, I've found some things around the spiral that would make great pets! Here they are:

Well, now it's real!

I quit- kinda

Ya, anyone who could be reading this would think by the title that I'm quitting. Well- kinda. Here are the reasons:
1. Wizard101 is fun and all but after a while it gets boring.
2. Nobody even reads this blog, even though I've only had like 11 or 12 posts.
3. I could give this blog to my brother in the future, maybe even my character, but it can be hard to maintain a blog about a game.
4. I have to admit this game is a little bit immature just the tiniest bit, mostly because of spending large amounts of money(60 or 39 dollars) on stuff like in-game money and gift cards.
Don't worry, I'll still post and everything, and if I give it to my brother, he can take it to the next level.
Well. I guess that's why I'm kinda quitting.

Here is your PigSwick Academy Tip for the day:
There is a Piswick School for every RavenWood School:
Fire: Ember
Storm: Tempest
Ice: Frost
Myth: Chaos
Death: Spirit
Life: Earth

The new Update also features a level 60 area HARDER THAN THE WATERWORKS called Tower of the Helephant.
Now, most people know KIFreeGames is on Fire this month, so I tried out a game of Doodle Doug, and I didn't do so good, but I still won a pet snack, an Evil Snowman pet, and 250 gold. Thank you KI! Then my brother tried out some Sorcery Stones and got two awesome Pet Snacks and 100 gold. I went ahead and tried Doodle Doug out again. I got an Eye of Bartleby, a Damage Elixer, and 250 gold! KingSisle is amazing, and a few months after WinterTusk, They release a brand new world and a level 60 area, and say they are already working on another thing, plus the new project. Every One loves KI and Wizard101, See:

  • This is a real fun game. I love to play it with the family. The only thing I see that needs to be fixed is the players level. They need to make it where we can get above level 60.
  • I started playing this W101 a year and a half ago (stumbled across it on accident) and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Don't knock it until you try it and get your wizard at least to a level 30 (everything prior to that is a little monotonous). I am anxious to see what Wysteria is like, and would love to eventually see some new schools introduced. I also agree that there should be more that 60 levels, I have 2 legendaries just sitting around unused because I have maxed on exp. and don’t want to keep questing with them. Anyways, if you are thinking about joining but are concerned that it is a children’s game you should know that I am a 26 year old woman (with a life!) and this remains to be my guilty pleasure haha.
  • I still play this game, so do my kids, and have for over two and a half years. I enjoy the card based aspect, collecting pets, the fully voiced NPC's, and the customization of characters that is available. KingsIsle has put so much detail into the game, and yet continues to make their game accessible and enjoyable to both older computers and those who live in remote areas with internet only slightly faster than dial-up. I give the kudos for that. This is the one MMORPG my kids can actually play without the lack of speed being an instant death sentence.
Looking forward to the new content.

  • I am 32 and this game is amazing, I have friends or here from ages 13 to 70. You get to chat and meet people from all across the states, and it is easy to understand and no slow loading. also love how yu can hatch cool pets..cant wait for wysteria I know it is going to be super hard but me and my crew are going to beat it down ...lolz...Tavia ShadowRunner Legendary student of Storm
  • The appeal of this is the wizard stuff. The card game, the family aspects, no one cares about those. It is the Harry Potter like feel of being a wizard, going through wizarding school, specializing in a type of magic. If one were to make a game like that, but without the card game aspect or dependance on being a family game, it would be hugely successfull. Thats why the Harry Potter games that actually took place in Hogworts were actually pretty fun games and are regarded as some of the best movie tie-ins. People want to be wizards, few games give them that opportunity though

Test Realm

The Test Realm is online. Here's what there is to test:

A general rundown of what the expansion will contain includes the expected listing of new equipment, quests, plants, and enemy creatures (Goblins, Hobgoblins, Green Men, and Rabbit Guards). Higher-level player wizards should also be pleased by the addition of a new level 60 gauntlet: The Tower of the Helephant.

Additionally, the starting zone's Ravenwood School of Magical Arts, to which player characters belong, will see the appearance of a rival magic school named Pigswick Academy. Wysteria, in addition to housing the city area with the rival school, will play host to two adventuring streets (Pegasus Place, and Tanglewood Way), as well as a magical tournament that will draw competitors from across the Spiral (the world in which Wizard101 is set). If players are good enough, they may even be able to win the magical tournament and take home the coveted Spiral Cup.

With the basic update details out of the way, KingsIsle further hints that this content update has more surprises in store for Wizard101 players, to be revealed in the coming days.

In the meantime, the new content should start showing up on the player test realm shortly, with release to the live servers occurring a few weeks thereafter, at which point each new zone will be available for purchase at the price of 1,000 in-game Crowns each, or free for those that hold subscriber accounts.

Though all this new content should keep players occupied for a while, KingsIsle isn't missing a step. "Over the last year, we've made a commitment to continually add fun and innovative new content for our incredible Wizard101 community," says KingsIsle's Fred Howard. "We're already hard at work on the update that will follow Wysteria, and we'll provide more details on that major update later this year."
