New Samoorai Pet

Hey. Remember this:

New Pet Suggestions

First up, I have to remind everyone there's less than a day left to get the Patriotic Leprechaun!
And speaking of pets, I've found some things around the spiral that would make great pets! Here they are:
The Samurai in Moo Shu

Well, now it's real!

I quit- kinda

Ya, anyone who could be reading this would think by the title that I'm quitting. Well- kinda. Here are the reasons:
1. Wizard101 is fun and all but after a while it gets boring.
2. Nobody even reads this blog, even though I've only had like 11 or 12 posts.
3. I could give this blog to my brother in the future, maybe even my character, but it can be hard to maintain a blog about a game.
4. I have to admit this game is a little bit immature just the tiniest bit, mostly because of spending large amounts of money(60 or 39 dollars) on stuff like in-game money and gift cards.
Don't worry, I'll still post and everything, and if I give it to my brother, he can take it to the next level.
Well. I guess that's why I'm kinda quitting.

Here is your PigSwick Academy Tip for the day:
There is a Piswick School for every RavenWood School:
Fire: Ember
Storm: Tempest
Ice: Frost
Myth: Chaos
Death: Spirit
Life: Earth

The new Update also features a level 60 area HARDER THAN THE WATERWORKS called Tower of the Helephant.
Now, most people know KIFreeGames is on Fire this month, so I tried out a game of Doodle Doug, and I didn't do so good, but I still won a pet snack, an Evil Snowman pet, and 250 gold. Thank you KI! Then my brother tried out some Sorcery Stones and got two awesome Pet Snacks and 100 gold. I went ahead and tried Doodle Doug out again. I got an Eye of Bartleby, a Damage Elixer, and 250 gold! KingSisle is amazing, and a few months after WinterTusk, They release a brand new world and a level 60 area, and say they are already working on another thing, plus the new project. Every One loves KI and Wizard101, See:

  • This is a real fun game. I love to play it with the family. The only thing I see that needs to be fixed is the players level. They need to make it where we can get above level 60.
  • I started playing this W101 a year and a half ago (stumbled across it on accident) and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Don't knock it until you try it and get your wizard at least to a level 30 (everything prior to that is a little monotonous). I am anxious to see what Wysteria is like, and would love to eventually see some new schools introduced. I also agree that there should be more that 60 levels, I have 2 legendaries just sitting around unused because I have maxed on exp. and don’t want to keep questing with them. Anyways, if you are thinking about joining but are concerned that it is a children’s game you should know that I am a 26 year old woman (with a life!) and this remains to be my guilty pleasure haha.
  • I still play this game, so do my kids, and have for over two and a half years. I enjoy the card based aspect, collecting pets, the fully voiced NPC's, and the customization of characters that is available. KingsIsle has put so much detail into the game, and yet continues to make their game accessible and enjoyable to both older computers and those who live in remote areas with internet only slightly faster than dial-up. I give the kudos for that. This is the one MMORPG my kids can actually play without the lack of speed being an instant death sentence.
Looking forward to the new content.

  • I am 32 and this game is amazing, I have friends or here from ages 13 to 70. You get to chat and meet people from all across the states, and it is easy to understand and no slow loading. also love how yu can hatch cool pets..cant wait for wysteria I know it is going to be super hard but me and my crew are going to beat it down ...lolz...Tavia ShadowRunner Legendary student of Storm
  • The appeal of this is the wizard stuff. The card game, the family aspects, no one cares about those. It is the Harry Potter like feel of being a wizard, going through wizarding school, specializing in a type of magic. If one were to make a game like that, but without the card game aspect or dependance on being a family game, it would be hugely successfull. Thats why the Harry Potter games that actually took place in Hogworts were actually pretty fun games and are regarded as some of the best movie tie-ins. People want to be wizards, few games give them that opportunity though

Test Realm

The Test Realm is online. Here's what there is to test:

A general rundown of what the expansion will contain includes the expected listing of new equipment, quests, plants, and enemy creatures (Goblins, Hobgoblins, Green Men, and Rabbit Guards). Higher-level player wizards should also be pleased by the addition of a new level 60 gauntlet: The Tower of the Helephant.

Additionally, the starting zone's Ravenwood School of Magical Arts, to which player characters belong, will see the appearance of a rival magic school named Pigswick Academy. Wysteria, in addition to housing the city area with the rival school, will play host to two adventuring streets (Pegasus Place, and Tanglewood Way), as well as a magical tournament that will draw competitors from across the Spiral (the world in which Wizard101 is set). If players are good enough, they may even be able to win the magical tournament and take home the coveted Spiral Cup.

With the basic update details out of the way, KingsIsle further hints that this content update has more surprises in store for Wizard101 players, to be revealed in the coming days.

In the meantime, the new content should start showing up on the player test realm shortly, with release to the live servers occurring a few weeks thereafter, at which point each new zone will be available for purchase at the price of 1,000 in-game Crowns each, or free for those that hold subscriber accounts.

Though all this new content should keep players occupied for a while, KingsIsle isn't missing a step. "Over the last year, we've made a commitment to continually add fun and innovative new content for our incredible Wizard101 community," says KingsIsle's Fred Howard. "We're already hard at work on the update that will follow Wysteria, and we'll provide more details on that major update later this year."
